Supported Living

Enabling Supported to young adults with learning disability/autism to live independently in the community.

It is a natural progression that young adults will look forward to moving into their own home and perhaps share with their friends or other young adults with similar interest. A learning disability/autism should not be a barrier for these young adults.

It is important that the transition takes place at the right pace for each individual. Each supported living home has a core team of experienced support workers who can deliver person centred support and enable each individual to make a successful transition to independence.

Each individual has their own support plan and Essential lifestyle plan which not only ensures practical support requirements are met, but also that wants and wishes, likes and dislikes are included. Each individual is empowered to take control of their own lifestyle choices by carefully managing risk and taking responsibility.

We believe that a learning disability/Autism should not be a barrier to living an independent and fulfilling life and will always strive to enable each individual to achieve their true potential.
